Summer Camps 2019

Camp Reservations

Send us a check for the deposit ($50.00 per child/per camp) with your child's name, the camp(s) you want, your phone number and an e-mail address so we can confirm your camps for you. Deposits and tuition are non-refundable.

Camp Info and Schedule

All of our camps are Tuesday through Friday.

Camps start at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Students need a lunch with drink, we supply a snack. Please choose carefully; deposits and tuition are non-refundable and absences are not replaceable. For those needing a longer day... call to arrange for classes that extend camps (tuesday - friday) until 4pm or 6pm. Email us for more information and to sign your child up for a camp.

Time Description
9:00 - 11:00 Intro and studio work with OJ and snack.
11:00 - 12:00 Walk (outside)
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch with a Fly on the Wall movie...older students can continue working after eating.
1:00 - 2:00 Schpeel, demo & studio work.
2:00 - 2:30 Play and snack if needed. (based on group)
2:30 - 3:00 Finish for the day & organize for the next day.

Drawing for FUN
June 18 - 21

All the stuff students love; cartooning, comics, manga, animation, graphic novels, street art & mythical creatures.  New projects and materials with the same relaxed spirit everyone loves.  A good camp to start the summer off!


June 25 - 28
Science, Business & Technology are just a few of the fields that seek people with creative experience.  With imaginative prompts every morning, followed by big projects in the afternoon, students learn to have fun OUT of the box!


Nature through Art
July 9-12
Students explore our beautiful and amazing planet as the make art that informs, appreciates and enlightens us about the natural world around us.  Projects are botanical art, animal portraits, plein aire painting, nature journals, drawing and more.


July 16 - 19
This camp gives students an opportunity to try their hand at several different painting mediums; acrylic, watercolor, ink, and gouache while also tackling a variety of techniques and subjects; buildings or gardens, portraits, ocean & realistic abstraction.


Art for Personal Fun
July 23 - 26
This camp covers all sorts of fun projects that students can continue doing on their own with simple art supplies.  We do sketch book "fun stuff" every morning and afternoons we will do mixed media art, create games & toys, even "liberate" trash...all in the name of art! Projects are 2d and 3d.


Personal Drawing Power
July 30 - August 2
This camp teaches classic drawing skills and techniques to all levels of students.  (Each project is offered in 3 different levels.) Camp covers figure, still life and portrait drawing, perspective, sketching and more!


"A Monkey Could Do That"
August 6-9
Explore Contemporary Art that might seem silly or crazy at first look, all while trying out all sorts of new and innovative styles, approaches and should be VERY fun! 2d and 3d projects included.


Crazy Camp
August 13 - 16
Our last camp of the season for students who have just a little more summer.  We offer the best projects of the summer, (according to students), and students create their own camp by voting on the projects they want! Beasties will be an option too, just in case.
